The Executive Branch

Taking into consideration all aspects of the executive branch including president, vice president and the Cabinet: How is the executive branch central to the success or failure of the United States government?

  1. I think that the presedent can make a desicion that can either impact or completly mess up this country. The presedent basically has all power and can do anything that can impact the United States.

  2. The Executive Branch or president is responsible for the failure or success of the United States because he has the last say on many of the major decisions. If the president chooses to send military troops on a mission into China and the mission is unsuccessful; he is accountable for the troops whose lives were lost. The United States would not blame China for the defeat and death of the troops. They would blame the president for the defeat because he was the one who originally made the decision to send the troops. The president also has the last say in major laws being passed and can release criminals if he finds them worthy of release. The president has many more powers that could greatly influence the United States, but weather that influence is good or bad depends upon the kind of person the president is.

  3. The executive branch is the central to success or failure because the president has the final say so in many aspects of the government. The president can veto a law, he can send troups into war at anytime he deems necessary, and he can pardon something. With all this power, he can either run the country into the ground, or he can bring it up from the ashes and make it a better place.

  4. The President has major decisions that could determine a fall of the country or the rise of power of the country. Such as his control of the economic system or the military decisions.

  5. The executive branch is successful, but it is also had failure too. There has been many things that have ben good. Look at all the rules we have and the rights. There might be rules and laws we don't like but they protect us. There has been failures to. Bush didn't do so great in the end of his run, and Obama isn't doing the best with the money and the jobs, etc. The presidnet has the hold country to dill with and it ain easy. He gots the "weight of the world on his shoulders"

  6. The president and the rest of the executive branch are key to the success or failure of this country, because they have a lot of power. One bad decision could ruin our nation, while a great one would help it to flourish. I believe the executive branch is the most important and without it the rest of the government couldn't function. The president has the power to command troops and send them to other countries serving his role as commander in chief. This could impact our country with a decision similiar to this.

  7. The Executive Branch is like a seesaw, it could be good or bad. The president can veto a law, he can send troups into war at anytime he thinks is necessary, and he can pardon something. The president has many more powers that could greatly influence the United States, but weather that influence is good or bad depends upon the kind of person the president is.

  8. I’m not going say that everything that goes wrong with the country is the president's fault, but in many aspects of America, the president IS in charge. For example: If Legislature wants to make a law, in the end that law has to be passed through the Executive Branch. So in most situations, the good and the bad have both went through the Executive Branch at one point.

  9. I think that the Executive Branch is a crucial part of our success because they are the ones who approve and disapprove our decisions. The president has the power to veto any laws that he either does not see fit or that will affect him. He also has the power to pardon anyone he wants. They have the big responsibility to make fair and honest decisions for our whole country, because if they don't we are all affected and they could destroy our entire country.

  10. The Executive Branch of government has an overall say in almost each decision that is made within the United States. Such as military decisions, which laws may or may not be passed, who gets placed into offices, agreements with foreign countries, and even criminal punishments. All these things play a major roll in the success or failure of our country. Just one bad decision could ruin the U.S. As an example, say the President may decide to make an agreement with China. If his judgement was off China could turn right around, catch us off guard and attack killing many Americans.

  11. The executive branch or president has been sucessful in the united states, because there were some good decisions made that was a big sucess. There has been times were the executive has made failure decision and make alot of people mad at him. The executive is the most powerful branch becuase they have to pass the laws before it can come a actual law. Its tough to be in that situation because you might have a big sucess on that law or you might make the wrong decision.

  12. The executive branch is powered by the president and the cabinet. The president can make a decsion that could be good or bad to the country. Also the executive branch is the powerful branch because they are the branch that passes laws. Then the president has many powers him self. Like he could put troops in Germany and start a world war 3. So the president and the executive branch has many powers that can make or break the United States.

  13. I think that it is important to the success or failure because the executive branch, that includes the president, makes important decisions that are a big part of this country. Things such as when to send military, what laws to pass and which to veto, and most importantly to be a leader for our country are things the president deals with and decides upon for the safety and happiness of the United States. If he was to make a wrong or bad decision it could lead to a situation that could not be good for our country.

  15. The Executive Branch has made many success and failure in our government over 100's of years. Some succesful things they have done is when we was in depression President Rosivalt made many ideas to bring us out of it. Another thing that is succesful with the Executive Branch is when the President gives speeches on what they are tring to pass or just the ideas they have on issues of our government, to try to fixs them. Like when Bush send all the soliders to Iraq from keeping them from coming here but it's kind of a faliure at the same time because of the fact that they really don't have a lot of money. Even though they have succes and faliure all at the same time.

  16. I think that the Executive Branch and president is responsible for the success or faliure of the United States because he has the last say on many of the major decisions. One thing that is a success and a faliure is when Bush sent the soliders to Iraq it was okay because they was going to fight for our freedom. But the Failure to that was he was spending way to much money, that we didn't even have!!
That's exactly what President Obama is doing now spending money that we do not have!
I think that is terrible! The president and the Executive branch has many powers that can make or break the United States. Sometimes the president having all this power is a very scary thing. He can do all kinds of things that we would never think of. He also has the power to veto any laws etc. Also he can release criminals if he finds them worthy of release. Which sometimes could deffinitely be a failure. But alot of the times be an Success to.

  17. The Executive branch has much much power, as does the vice president and the cabinet! They have the United States at their hands and most everything depends on the presidents decision with help from the VP and cabinet. If the president wants to take the military and put them in a position that might put us in danger, he may do that because he has the authority to do so. we can be in great danger if he makes the wrong move. Our success and failures lie in the executive branches hands.

  18. The executive branch is the most powerful branch in our country eventhough they do not have the total 100% affect over the power. The congress splits it with them, but in the end the president decides what stays and what goes. Having a balanced president is critical in the success of our country, and most importantly, keep our economy growing because in the end the only thing people care about is having money. The president can decide anything from where we need to send FEMA, or make a decision on which country our US military needs to to attack. Our last running with the president did not go so well because I think he wasnt experienced in the necessary categories. Thats why the executive branch is the top dog because they make decisions on numerous aspects of life.

  19. Because the president runs the Executive Branch and it depends on his decision rather or not the U.S. has success or failure in the future.

  20. I think the excutive branch is the most known branch because of the president and the vice president. Yes, the country is in the president hands, but that is what depicts a good future or failure for America. The president does have a lot of say about whats the future for America, thats why i think the exutive branch has so much pressure put on them by the American citizens. Depending on the presidents experiance and ideas for office, the importance of the executive branch will be good or bad for America.

  21. I think that the excutive branch is the key to success or failure beause they have the most power in making decisions. also they are more publicised because of the president and vice-president. they deal with the military and how we interact with other countrys, with where we send FEMA and how we handle threts from other countrys.

  22. The excutive branch is an important key to success and failure in the country because they have the most power making decision in the country. They have power over the military, decide which laws may or may not be passed, agreements with foreign countries and sometimes even decide criminal punishment. For example, if the president passes a law they shouldn't be passed, life in America could change, such as legalizing marijuana. Our success and failure is in the excutive branches hands.

  23. I think that the executive branch is very important to failure and success because if you think about it they have the right to pass laws and if the law gets passed and it becomes a failure then its the executive branch's fault because they passed it. But also if they pass a law ans it is a success then they should be recognized.

  24. I think the executive branch is important to the countries success because they have the power to make decisions about laws in the country and they have power over the military. The executive branch basically has the final say over what laws are passed in the country. If the president, the head of the executive branch, doesn't agree with or like a law he can veto it, basically making the law harder to pass. The executive branch's ability to stop unnecessary laws, or pass necessary laws effects the countries succsess. The executive branch can effect the countries success by how they handle the military. The executive branch's choices of whether or not to attck a country is also a compenent of a countries success.

  25. The excutive branch has their fingers in every aspect of our life. From our protection to the regulations our employers have to follow to employ us. If the excutive branch fails all of our benifits that the government provides us goes away with with them. There would be no Home Land Security, so people could attack us and no one would take charge to do anyhting aginst it. If the Department of Labor disapears, our employers can treat us any way they want and pay us anything they want.

  26. I think that the president is in control of anything that messes up here in the United States so if anything fails then he is in charge of getting it working again. If the executive branch does fail then all of our home security will collapse and anyone out of the world can come and attack us. So like I said the president of the United States needs to make sure all of the branches does not collapse and they alll stay up and working.

  27. The president is in control everything that goes wrong in the United States so its all on him if something goes wrong so he needs to fix everything that needs to be fixed like if the executive branch shuts down then he can fix it.So he needs to make sure everything is in line an no mess ups. Because he is in Charge!

  28. The excutive branch is very important, they have a lot of power. The future is in there hands, success or failure. But it's the president's choice to send the military out, even though it may be a very bad ending for us. They can make laws but the president has to pass them or not.

  29. The executive branch is very important to our Country. The president has the last say-so in every and any law that is passed. Therefore, the executive branch is responsible for the failure or success of the United States. He also has power over our military. The president can decide what laws are good ideas and what laws are bad ones. If he passed a law that wasn’t a good thing... then the whole Country would be affected by that decision. So the executive branch has a lot of pressure to make the best decisions from the United States. But the president does have the power to veto laws that he might not see fit, or that might affect him in a negative way. So in the end the president has to be very careful about what laws he decides to pass or not. Our happiness is in his hands.
